There is nothing that brings about such differing emotions as artwork. Better yet, the same piece of art can bring about very opposite emotions in two different people. What does that mean to an office space?
There are several things to consider when adding artwork to the office space. First, consider who will see the artwork. If it is in an area where customers are greeted, the response from the customers should be the first thing to think about before deciding on a piece of art for the office space. Landscape scenes tend to be some of the safest of artwork. Depending on the scene, a landscape can add tranquility to the office space. A painting filled with colorful flowers can brighten up the office space and bring a feeling of being outdoors for the employees. Another type of artwork that can be quite safe for an office space is the abstract painting. Without definite pictures, each person has his or her own perspective.
